Our U10.5 boys have been busy travelling around the county for GoGames fixtures against Madden, Tullysaran and Granemore, even venturing into Tyrone to take on Galbally. They are a brilliant group of lads who continue to improve with every game. 👏
The U12 boys have also had a packed schedule recently, facing Pearse Óg, Naomh Colum, Granemore and Tullysaran. They have produced some excellent performances against some of the strongest teams in the county.
The U14 boys were involved in a thrilling encounter with Cullyhanna in the opening round of the championship, narrowly coming out on the wrong side of the result. They have since been drawn against Clann Éireann in the Shield competition. The lads have also been on the road competing in the Michael Towey Cup, where they reached the final. There is certainly plenty more to come from this talented group. 💪🏻
The U16 team have had several close contests so far, drawing three of their league games. The Minor team have also battled hard in their league campaign. Both groups will be aiming to build momentum and push on as the season progresses.
Naomh Labhaoise
Our U8 and U10 girls have been busy hosting our own hub in Annaghmore, while also attending hubs in Clan na Gael, Wolfe Tones and Tír na nÓg. Numbers remain fantastic at these age groups, and the coaches are delighted with the girls’ continued improvement. Maith sibh! 👏
The U12 girls have recently completed their grading league, producing some fantastic performances against strong opposition from Clann Éireann, St Peter’s, Clan na Gael and Wolfe Tones. These games will stand to the girls as they continue their development. 🙌
The U14 girls’ league campaign is well underway, with fixtures against Middletown, Grange and St Peter’s already played. The girls are also showing great improvement through their Wednesday night training sessions. 💪🏻
Our U16 and U18 teams have experienced mixed fortunes in their league campaigns to date, with fixtures disrupted by exam breaks. There is still plenty of football ahead, and both squads have the potential to make a strong impact as the season continues. 👏
